Ch. Clerc Milon Pauillac 2012

Cabernet Sauvignon from France - Bordeaux
Review Date : 21-Mar-2015
5eme Cru, 60% CS, 29% Me, 9% CF, 1% PV, 1% Carm. Dark, even ruby-red colour with youthful purple hues. This has an elegant, tightly bound and stylishly restrained nose with fresh primary fruit aromas of black and redcurrants along with plums and some subtle oak adding to the lift. Medium-bodied and slender in proportion, vibrantly aromatic and refreshing primary fruit flavours of blackcurrants and red plums show with sweetness and vitality. Excellent acid freshness is present with fine-grained tannins in support. The extraction grows to lend dryness to the mouthfeel and the structure carries the wine to a long, elegant finish. This is an elegant, vibrant, up-front, fruity Clerc Milon to drink over the next 8-10 years. 17.5-/20 Mar 2015 RRP $130.00
