Ch. Clerc Milon Pauillac 2009

Cabernet Sauvignon from France - Bordeaux
Review Date : 21-Mar-2015
5eme Cru, 50% CS, 44% Me, 4% CF, 1% PV, 1% Carm. Very full, deep, black-hued red colour. The bouquet is elegantly presented with fresh, vibrant, ripe blackcurrant fruit aromas with subtle savoury elements. This is lifted with fragrant red berry fruits, plums and fine herb and oak nuances. Medium-bodied and elegant in proportion, refined flavours of blackcurrant fruit show with delicate plum and herb detail, and sensitively melded oak. The palate is refreshing with excellent lacy acidity and fine-grained tannins lend a refined structure and mouthfeel. The wine has a tight and fine core with excellent linearity, carrying to a very ling, lingering and elegant finish. This is a wine of lovely finesse and freshness. It will develop over the next 10-15+ years. 18.5/20 Mar 2015 RRP $135.00
