Ch. Angelus St Emilion 2008

Merlot from France - Bordeaux
Review Date : 29-Sep-2011
23 ha, 50% Me, 47% CF, 3% CS Very full, impenetrable ruby-red colour with garnet hues, the bouquet is full and soft, with robust, hearty redcurrant, plum, earth and dried herb aromas interwoven with oak cedar and char, unfolding in waves. A full-bodied, rounded, rich wine, this is solidly constructed with chunky and dense textures filled with flavours of dark red berry and plums, with earth and dried herb complexities. There is good acidity adding a luscious liveliness. The breadth, richness and structure feature, and carry through to the sustained finish. This will keep 12-15 years. 18.5+/20 Sep 2011 RRP $399.00
