Caythorpe Sauvignon Blanc 2020, Marlborough

Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 11-Dec-2020
Bright, pale green-hued yellow, even colour throughout. The nose is vibrant with fresh aromas of gooseberries, limes, blackcurrants along with fresh-cut dill and fennel and a light note of white spice. Light-bodied, dry to taste, bright nuances of passionfruit, gooseberries and limes entwined with herbaceous notes. The palate is dry with a taut acid drive, flows with good energy to a zesty, moderately long finish. Match with green-lipped mussels and white fish over the next 2-3 years. Fermented in stainless steel to 13% alc, 3.2 g/l RS. 17/20 pts (85 pts) Dec 2020 RRP $20
