Deep ruby-red with a purple hue, even colour throughout. The nose is rich and gentle, with aromas of plum, black cherry, herbs, cedar, spice and meaty elements. Medium-full bodied, aromas of plum and cherry intermixed with raspberry, dried herbs, clove, and roasted meat. The fruit shows concentration, supported by fresh acidity and rich, fine-grained tannins, projecting savoury, meaty nuances and lending an elegant, long finish. This Syrah is well-made with elegant features. Match with roasted lamb shoulder and sirloin steak over the next 6+ years.
