Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand - Wairarapa & Wellington
Review Date : 11-Oct-2023
Bright, even, pale yellow. The nose is softly full, with aromas of sweet, tropical fruit, elderflower and a hint of grassy nuance. Medium-light bodied, aromas of guava and passionfruit entwined with elderflower, lime zest, grass and saline. Fine-textured phenolics fill the palate and lend an almost unctuous mouthfeel; fresh acidity flows smoothly with herbaceous notes to a dry, crisp finish. This Sauvignon Blanc possesses a fresh, textural line with savoury, tropical nuances. Match with shellfish and whitebait over the next 3 years. Fermented in tank to 12.5% alc. 18.5/20 pts (93 pts) Oct 2023 RRP $26
