Bruno Clair Gevrey-Chambertin 1er ‘Clos St Jacques’ 2010

Pinot Noir from France - Burgandy
Review Date : 18-Feb-2014
Brilliant, dark, deep, purple-hued ruby-red, vibrant and youthful in appearance. The bouquet is fresh and primary, featuring aromas of bright raspberry fruit with liqueur notes adding to the richness. This has a minerally edge and the intensity and finesse of aromatics is a feature. Extremely elegant and exuding finesse, stylishly restrained flavours of raspberry and cherry fruit are underlined by silky tannins. The mouthfeel is soft and smooth, quite seamless, with beautifully fine acidity and the flavours flow with grace to a very long, aromatic finish. This is a beautifully refined, aromatic and fine-featured Clos St Jacques. 10-12+ years. 19.0+/20 Feb 2014 RRP $N/A
