Brown Brothers ‘Vintage’ Sparkling Moscato NV

Sparkling Wine from Australia - Other
Review Date : 22-Nov-2012
Bright, full, straw-yellow colour with some golden hues, moderately persistent bubbles. The nose is full and broad and bold with aromas of yellow florals, ripe grapes with hints of tropical fruits, raisins and wild honey. Medium-sweet to taste and light in body, softly full and gentle flavours of grapes, flowers and raisins with notes of honey and nuances of caramel fill the palate. This is softly textured, and a little unctuousness adds to the restrained richness and exotic expression. The mousse is a little understated, but the fruit drives the palate to a lush, honied finish. This is light-bodied, bold flavoured sparkling Muscat wine with softness and lusciousness. Easy to drink on its own, or serve with fruit over the next 18 months. Made from Muscat of Alexandria fruit fermented to 6.0% alc. and 90 g/L by the Charmat method. 16.0+/20 Nov 2012 RRP $17.99
