Bright, even, pale salmon. The nose is bursting with freshness, with aromas of raspberry, strawberry, watermelon and red blossom. Medium-bodied, aromas of raspberry and strawberry melded with plum, rose, watermelon and a touch of spice. The fruit is rich and perfumed, packs a punch with power and is lengthy. Lively acidity flows effortlessly to a spiced, refreshing finish. Match with char siu and tempura prawns over the next 3 years. A blend of Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon grown at Ohiti Estate, fermented to 14% alc, 4.5 g/l RS. 18/20 pts (90 pts) Nov 2024 RRP $23
