Bright, very pale straw-yellow colour, lighter on the rim. The nose is fresh with light aromas of white and yellow stonefruits along with subtle white florals and hints of herbs and musk, underlaid by wet-stone minerals nd a touch of reduction. Off-dry to taste andmedium-bodied, the palate has light, refreshing flavours of white stonefruits and florals with hints of exotic fruits, honeysuckle, herbs and musk, entwined with mineral elements. The mouthfeel is bright and lively with fresh, lacy acidity providing energy and tension, and the wine flows smoothly along a fine phenolic threaded line leading to a light, off-dry finish of floral and nuances of honeysuckle. This is a light-flavoured aromatic blend with nuances of florals, honeysuckle and wet-stone minerals on a refreshing palate. Serve as an aperitif and with dim sum over the next 2-3 years. A press blend of 57% Gewurztraminer, 35% Riesling and 8% Muscat from the ‘Road’ and ‘Hill’ blocks, hand-picked and WBP, fermented in stainless-steel to 11.5% alc. and 9 g/L RS. 200 dozen made. 16.5/20 Jan 2017 RRP $29.00
