Brennan Gibbston Central Otago Pinot Grigio 2015

Pinot Gris from New Zealand - Otago
Review Date : 07-Jan-2017
Bright, even, light straw-yellow colour with pale gold hues, lighter on the im. This has a very fresh, tightly bound nose with light aromas of white stonefruits and nuances of minerals, expressed with clarity and purity. The fruit builds in intensity and depth with aeration. Dry to taste and medium-bodied, the palate possesses delicate flavours of white stonefruits entwined with mineral notes and nutty nuances. The wine is fresh, zesty and clean with crisp, lacy, thirst-quenching acidity, and flows with good drive and tension, leading to a light, mouthwatering finish. This is a crisp, zesty and clean, delicately flavoured Pinot Grigio style with white stonefruit and mineral notes, and mouthwatering acidity. Serve as an aperitif, or with seafood over the next 2-3 years. Mission clone fruit from the ‘Pylon’ and ‘Highgate’ blocks, hand-picked and WBP, and stainless-steel fermented to 12.5% alc. and 7 g/L RS. 413 dozen made. 16.5+/20 Jan 2017 RRP $22.00
