Brancott Estate ‘Flight’ East Coast Rosé 2014

Rose from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 14-Oct-2014
Bright, pale salmon-pink with peachy hues, light on edge. This has a gentle, aromatic nose of uncomplicated soft stonefruits along with fresh red floral and honeysuckle nuances. Medium-dry to taste and light-bodied, this is easy and accessible with light stonefruit and citrus fruit notes, lifted with red floral and honeysuckle elements. The fruit has some juiciness and the mouthfeel is soft and smooth-flowing. The balance and freshness is the feature, the wine finishing with sweet redcurrant notes. This is a fresh, light and easy, off-dry rosé. Serve as an aperitif over the next 18 months. Undisclosed varieties, the fruit from Waipara and Marlborough with the inclusion of Pinot Noir fermented on skins for colour. 9.0% alc. and 14.7 g/L RS, TA 7.3 g/L and pH 3.3. 15.5-/20 Oct 2014 RRP $17.29
