Bouchard Pere Chambertin ‘Clos de Beze’ Grand Cru 2006

Pinot Noir from France - Burgandy
Review Date : 28-Aug-2012
Based in Beaune. From 0.94 ha reserved by Damoy, 13.5% alc. Moderately deep, ruby-red colour with some garnet hues. The bouquet is powerful and concentrated, showing youthful dark fruit aromas along with distinctive dark herb, mint and spice complexities that blossom. A well-structured wine, near robust in style, sweet red berry fruits are underlined by dark herb, spices and individual mint flavours. Some subtle savouriness from secondary development shows. This has fine-grained tannins and freshness from good acidity. Still with primary elements, this is an individual wine with its herb and mint notes. 7-10 years. 17.5-/20 Aug 2012
