Bright, pale yellow, even colour throughout. The nose is gently full and appealing, with citrus, pineapple, toasty oak and spice aromas, and a hint of almond. Full-bodied, aromas of lemon, lemon rind and pineapple have a fresh core, unfolding roasted almond, oak spice and minerals. The mouthfeel is creamy and voluminous, nicely contrasting a focused, ripe acid drive. Fine-textured phenolics added chewiness, flow with nutty elements to a sustained finish. This is a well-rounded Chardonnay with lush fruit, balanced toasty oak and a creamy mouthfeel supported by lively acidity.
