Bodegas Borsao Garnacha Campo de Borja 2009

Grenache from Spain
Review Date : 25-Jun-2011
A blend of Garnacha, Tempranillo and Cabernet Sauvignon from the Bodegas Borsao, a co-operative drawing fruit from over 1000 ha. Bright, even, dark ruby-red in colour, this has a fresh, fruit-driven nose of dark red berry fruits with notes of herbs, tar, earth and resin. This is medium full-bodied at 13.5% alc., with bright, uncomplicated and heady flavours of juicy raspberries and boysenberries with fresh herbs. Fresh, crisp and slippery acidity with modest tannin extraction result in a fruity, supple and very approachable wine to drink over the next 3-5 years with pizza, pasta and barbecued meats. 16.0+/20 Jun 2011 RRP $20.95
