Bodega Atamisque ‘Serbal’ Tupungato Uco Valley Malbec Rosé 2013

Rose from Argentina
Review Date : 10-Jul-2014
Malbec fruit from Tupungto, Uco Valley, given 36 hours cold soak and cool-fermented in stainless-steel to 13.5% alc. Pale strawberry pink with slight purple hues on rim. The nose is fresh with mouthwatering aromas of strawberries, cherries and watermelon, along with hints of herbs and minerals, and some lifted confectionary nuances. Dry to taste and medium-bodied, gently luscious and delicately sweet strawberry and red currant fruit flavours form a soft-textured, core with good depth and presence. The mouthfeel has rounded and unctuous suggestions and a slippery flow. Fresh acidity and a fine textured line carries the wine to a dry, delicately lifted finish with red floral and herbal nuances. This is a soft, dry, pretty rosé with red fruits. Serve with antipasto, tapas and dim sum over the next 2 years. 17.0/20 Jul 2014 RRP $23.00
