Block 88 Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2011

Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 14-Mar-2012
Bright, very pale straw-yellow colour with slight green hues. This has a soft, full and rich nose of ripe passionfruit and tropical fruits with oak nuances, the aromatics broad, open and very accessible. Dry to taste, soft, mouthfilling flavours of passionfruit, limes and tropical fruits flow across the palate seamlessly, with harmonious acidity adding freshness and liveliness. The finish is gentle and moderate in length, with subtle layers of sweet fruits lingering. A selection of distinctive parcels of wine made exclusively by Auntsfield Estate for the Fine Wine Delivery Company. WBP and cool-fermented in stainless-steel, with a portion WBP and wild yeast fermented in seasoned French oak to 13.0% alc. This is a smooth and lush, passionfruity Sauvignon Blanc to match with Asian cuisine over the next 2 years. 17.5-/20 Mar 2012 RRP $11.99
