Black Cottage Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2015

Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 20-Oct-2015
Bright, very pale straw colour with slight green hues. This has a finely concentrated nose with good depth of passionfruit aromas nuanced with fresh herb, capsicum and floral elements, revealing mineral detail in the glass. Dry to taste and medium-bodied, the palate is elegant in proportion with finely concentrated, lusciously juicy flavours of passionfruit. This has a slender, but positive core and line with delicate, soft textures and fresh, lacy, light acidity. The wine carries to a light, dry, lingering finish. This is a slender, well-proportioned and concentrated Sauvignon Blanc with juicy passionfruit flavours. Serve as an aperitif and with Pacific Rim fare over the next 2 years. Fruit from the Wairau, Southern and Awatere valleys, cool-fermented in stainless-steel to 13.0% alc. and 3 g/L RS. 17.0+/20 Oct 2015 RRP $18.00
