Black Cottage Marlborough Rosé 2017

Rose from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 06-Sep-2017
Very pale salmon-pink colour, lighter on the rim. The nose is very delicate with restrained aromas of red cherry and berry fruit entwined with red florals and nuances of minerals. Dry to taste and medium-bodied, the palate has delicate flavours of strawberries and cherries with red florals and hints of minerals. This has good presence and vinosity, and the mouthfeel is enlivened by fresh, lacy, thirst-quenching acidity. The wine flows along a fine line, carrying to a light, dry finish showing floral elements. This is a delicately flavoured dry rosé with strawberry and floral notes and mouthwatering acidity. Serve as an aperitif and canapes over the next 18 months to 2 years. Marlborough Pinot Noir fruit cool-fermented in tank to 12.5% alc. and 4.3 g/L RS, the wine aged 8 weeks on lees. 16.0/20 Sep 2017 RRP $18.00
