Black Cottage Marlborough Rosé 2012

Rose from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 05-Oct-2012
Pinot Noir fruit given limited skin contact and fermented to 13.0% alc. and 4.4 g/L rs. Bright, light pink colour with peachy hues. The bouquet is fresh and softly full with aromas of strawberries, watermelon and red florals, gently ethereal in expression. Dry to taste and light-bodied, soft and subtly mouthfilling flavours of strawberries and peaches flow gently across the palate. This is smooth with fine, mouthwatering acidity enlivening the fruit. The flavours build with depth revealing cherry notes, and carry through to a very long, lingering finish. This is a light and attractively smooth, mouthfilling rosé with strawberry flavours. Serve as an aperitif and with antipasto over the next 2+ years. 17.0+/20 Oct 2012 RRP $18.00
