Bright, full straw-yellow colour with light golden hues with some depth. The bouquet is firm and concentrated with complex aromas of savoury yellow stonefruits layered with gunflint reduction, and mealy, nutty elements that build in intensity and breadth with aeration. Medium-full bodied and well-proportioned, tightly packed and deep flavours of savoury stonefruits, flinty reduction and nuts show secondary development and complexities. The palate has a firm core and line with some alcohol drive, with background acidity providing some liveliness to the mouthfeel. The wine carries to a dry-textured finish with fulsome, lingering, nutty amalgam of flavours. This is a fulsome, firmly concentrated Chardonnay with complex secondary flinty and nutty flavours. Serve with veal, rabbit and wild pork over the next 4+ years. The bouquet features elegant white and yellow stonefruit and citrus fruit aromas, lifted with floral elements, building with intensity, revealing nuances of nutty oak and flinty, minerally lees elements. Medium-full bodied, this is elegantly concentrated and finely textured, the palate subtly mouthfilling and growing in richness. The flavours flow smoothly with soft acid liveliness, leading to a blossoming finish with citrus fruits and oak spices. This is an elegant Chardonnay that builds in concentration and richness.
