Bernhard & Reibel Alsace Riesling ‘Hahnenberg’ 2007

Riesling from France - Alsace
Review Date : 08-Sep-2011
Bright straw-yellow colour with hints of lemony-gold, this has a subtle but weighty nose of honey and toastiness from secondary development allied to steely freshness and minerals. Dry to taste, this is fine, firm and showing depth and fruit presence, along with delicate secondary toast and some nuances of oxidation. A wine you need to search for the character. The wine carries 12.5% alc.  Sep 2011
