Bernhard & Reibel Alsace Pinot Noir 2009

Pinot Noir from France - Alsace
Review Date : 07-Sep-2011
Deepish ruby-red colour with a youthful purple hue. The nose is soft with ripe red berry jam and raspberry fruit characters, straightforward in expression. The palate is well-weighted at 13.0% alc., and shows simple, bright red berry fruit flavours, moderate extraction, and soft textures. There is a richness and plumminess and sufficient acid freshness, but the wine is singular in dimension.  Sep 2011
