Bannock Brae ‘Cathy’s’ Central Otago Rosé 2017

Rose from New Zealand - Otago
Review Date : 08-Dec-2017
Bright peach-pink colour with some depth, lighter on the edge with eye-of-the-partridge hues. The nose is fresh with softly full aromas of watermelon, quince, cranberries and strawberries, unfolding soft herbal nuances. Dry to taste and medium-bodied, the palate has intense and well-concentrated flavours of watermelon, quince, cranberries and subtle nuances of bitter cherries, herbs and red florals. The mouthfeel is thirst-quenching with crisp, lacy acidity, and the wine flows with good drive along a soft, fine-textured line, leading to a mouthwatering finish of watermelon, quince and florals. This is a thirst-quenching, dry rosê with flavours of watermelon, quince and cranberries on a crisp palate. Match with antipasto and tapas over the next 2 years. 100% Pinot Noir fruit destemmed and given 2 days skin contact, and cool-fermented in stainless-steel to 12.9% alc. and 4.5 g/L RS. RRP $25.00
