Bannock Brae ‘Cathy’s’ Central Otago Rosé 2014

Rose from New Zealand - Otago
Review Date : 04-Dec-2014
Light strawberry pink colour with some depth, and lighter purple hues on rim. The nose is fresh with an elegant core of strawberry fruit, and raspberries and cream, unfolding delicate floral and fruit pastille confectionary notes. Dry to taste and medium-bodied, fruit flavours of strawberries and cream, redcurrants and watermelon show with attractive clarity. This has a good core and palate line with soft textures and mouthwatering acidity. The wine leads to a long, dry finish. This is a dry rosê with soft, mouthwatering flavours of strawberries and redcurrants. Serve as an aperitif and with antipasto over the next 2 years. Made from Pinot Noir fruit selected for the rosé style, given 3 days skin contact and cool-fermented to 13.5% alc. and 2.5 g/L RS. Winemaker: Sarah-Kate Dineen. 17.5/20 Dec 2014 RRP $23.00
