Bright, even, pale yellow. The nose is full and fragrant, packed with aromas of Nashi pear, apple puree, lily and white spice. Medium-full bodied, off-dry to taste, aromas of Nashi pear and apple puree are fresh and crisp, enveloping ginger, ground nutmeg and white lilies. The fruit is succulent and juicy, supported by fresh acidity; sweetness provides a fleshy mouthfeel and balance to the fresh acidity. This Pinot Gris is juicy and appetizing, with crunchy fruit and spice on an off-dry palate. Match with pad Thai and pulled pork tacos over the next 3 years. Fruit was destemmed and crushed, whole bunch pressed to tank, fermented to 13% alc, 9.5 g/l RS. 18.5-/20 pts (92 pts) Dec 2022 RRP $30
