B.wine Rosé 2021, Martinbrough

Rosé from New Zealand - Wairarapa & Wellington
Review Date : 20-Dec-2021
Bright, berry-red with depth, even colour throughout. The nose is full, with deep aromas of rose petal, spice underlying wild strawberries and boysenberries and hard-boiled candy. Medium-bodied, dry to taste, aromas of wild strawberries and boysenberries are lush, enriched by spice and rose petal details. The mouthfeel is smooth with fine-textured phenolics, contribute to the weight, the richness of fruit and floral component elevated by spice, extend the finish with a pure expression. This is a succulent Pinot Noir Rosé with pure wild berries, rich floral and a smooth mouthfeel. Match with charcuterie and venison tartare over the next 2-3 years. 100% Pinot Noir, on skins for 18 hours, 13.5% alc. 1,384 bottles produced. 18.5/20 pts (93 pts) Dec 2021 RRP $28
