Bright, very pale straw colour with slight green hues. This has a fulsome nose with deeply packed and dense aromas of pungent passionfruit interwoven with layers of dark, savoury stonefruits, tropical fruits and dark herbs, along with a nutty hint. Dry to taste and medium-full bodied. the flavours of passionfruit, tropical fruits herbs and stonefruits are full, open and up-front, are reveal depth and concentration. The mouthfeel has good presence, with soft, rounded textures and integrated acidity. The fruit is sweet and rich, with good underlying freshness, and carries with good drive to a full, pungent finish of tropical fruits and herbs. This is a full, soft and weighty Sauvignon Blanc with passionfruit and dark, savoury stonefruit flavours. Match with salads and vegetables, and herb-marinated poultry, pork and veal dishes over the next 2 years. Fruit from the ‘Auntsfield’ vineyard cool-fermented in stainless-steel, with a portion WBP and barrel-fermented, to 13.0% alc. 18.0+/20 Oct 2015 RRP $22.95
