Ataahua Waipara Rosé 2013

Rose from New Zealand - Canterbury & Waipara
Review Date : 08-Jan-2014
Made from free-run Pinot Noir juice, cool-fermented in stainless-steel to 13.5% alc. and 15 g/L RS. Light salmon pink colour, light on rim. The nose is soft and light with subtle red berry fruits and watermelon aromas along with nuances of fresh herbs and hops providing interest. Medium-dry to taste and light-medium-bodied, light flavours of red berry fruits, watermelon and herbs show with a gentle sweetness and lusciousness. The palate is carried by fine delicate textures and light, lacy, mouthwatering acidity to a delicately nuanced red fruited finish with some residual sugar noticeable. This is a light and delicate, red fruited medium-dry Pinot Noir rosé with some herb and hoppy notes. Serve in al fresco dining situations over the next 12-18 months. 15.5+/20 Jan 2014 RRP $24.00
