Ata Rangi Martinborough Pinot Noir 1990

Pinot Noir from New Zealand - Wairarapa & Wellington
Review Date : 30-Jun-2014
A cooler growing season, but with good light and sunshine. Olly Masters’ first vintage. Full, dark, brick-red colour, paler on edge. This has a softly full and complex nose with harmoniously presented secondary aromas of savoury red fruits and dried herbs, revealing some violetty floral elements. Full with bright and luscious flavours of dark red fruits, along with secondary dried herbal and tertiary mushroom characters that provide a mouthfilling fulsome palate with grainy textures, brisk, up-front acidity and a deep core. The palate unfolds more detail revealing good breadth and carrying to a long finish. 17.5/20Jun 2014 RRP $N/A
