Ata Rangi ‘Crimson’ Martinborough Pinot Noir 2014

Pinot Noir from New Zealand - Wairarapa & Wellington
Review Date : 23-Oct-2015
Bright ruby-red with youthful purple hues. The aromatics are fresh, bright and elegant with pure cherry and raspberry fruit. Floral lift and subtle herb and stalk detail. Elegant in size, with sweet primary fruit to the fore, cherries and florals, a touch of herb. Lovely refreshing acidity and a fine tannin line, allows the fruit to feature. Long, light finish. Not trying too hard, this is very natural. Clone 5, 10/5, Abel and younger Dijon clones. Destemmed, indigenous yeast fermented with high percentage of whole berries, 9 months in 20% new French oak. 17.5+/20 Oct 2015 RRP $40.00
