Ata Rangi ‘Craighall’ Martinborough Chardonnay 2014

Chardonnay from New Zealand - Wairarapa & Wellington
Review Date : 23-Oct-2015
Bright, pale straw colour. The nose is elegant, but shows excellent concentration of citrus fruits, stonefruits, nutty and spicy oak, and beautiful mineral purity and finesse. A touch of class here. Striking clarity of expression, with citrus and stonefruits, flint, oak and minerals in lovely balance for development. Fine acid vitality and phenolic linearity, and plenty of detail emerges in the glass. Finishes with crisp acidity and minerality. Mendoza clone, indigenous yeast barrel-ferment, 12 months in 25% new French oak barriques, partial MLF. 19.0/20 Oct 2015 RRP $45.00
