Aronui ‘Single Vineyard’ Nelson Pinot Rosé 2017

Rose from New Zealand - Nelson
Review Date : 11-Oct-2017
Bright, light cherry-pink colour lighter on the rim with slight purple hues. The nose is softly fresh with restrained aromas of watermelon, cranberries, unfolding raspberry notes with pomegranate and thirst-quenching minerals. The aromatics build in depth with aeration. Dry to taste and medium-bodied, the palate has bright and sweetly rich flavours of ripe raspberry, cranberry and pomegranate fruit. The fruit is mouthfilling, forming a lively, solid core with light textures and integrated acidity. The fruit is up-front, unveiling red florals and carries to a lingering, nuanced, mouthwatering finish. This is a bright, up-front dry rosé with rich raspberry and cranberry fruit with red florals on a fine-textured core, with a lively, mouthwatering finish. Match with antipasto and tapas over the next 2 years. Pinot Noir fruit from the ‘Whenua Matua’ vineyard, given approx. 3 hours skin contact and cool-fermented in tank with 10% in seasoned oak to 13.5% alc. and 4.6 g/L RS. 17.0+/20 Oct 2017 RRP $21.95
