Ara ‘Single Estate’ Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2012

Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 09-Oct-2012
Full, bright, pale straw-yellow colour with slight green hues. The nose is very full, broad and open with voluminous aromas of ripe, pungent passionfruit and tropical fruits. Dry to taste, this is full and packed with generous flavours of passionfruit and ripe tropical fruits, with a minerally herb underlay. Smooth flowing and mouthfilling, soft acidity enhances the breadth and density of flavours, which grow in the palate, leading to a very long and lingering, crisply dry finish. This is a full and flavour-packed Sauvignon Blanc with soft, rich, pungent passionfruit expression. Match with creamy pastas, poultry, salads and vebetables over the next 2 years. Sauvignon Blanc fruit from all areas of Ara's vineyards cool fermented to 13.0% alc. and <1 g/L rs. 18.5/20 Oct 2012 RRP $21.99
