Antonin Guyon ‘Dames de Vergy’ Hautes Cotes de Nuits 2011

Pinot Noir from France - Burgandy
Review Date : 28-Nov-2013
Pale ruby-red colour with youthful purple hues. The bouquet is light and delicate with fragrant red florals along with dried herb elements and resinous oak notes. Light-bodied and somewhat slender in proportion, light flavours of soft red fruits show some concentration for the size. The acidity is racy and shows the cooler ripeness spectrum, and the tannin extraction on the modest side, but significant. Some fresh and dried herbal flavours are present, adding a savoury aspect. This is a light, cooler vintage burgundy. From 20 ha in Meuilley, near Nuits-St-Georges, aged 12 months in oak. 16.5+/20 Nov 2013 RRP $52.00
