Antonin Guyon Corton Bressandes Grand Cru 2010

Pinot Noir from France - Burgandy
Review Date : 28-Nov-2013
From 0.85 ha, the wine aged 18 months in 50% new oak. Dark, deep, ruby-red colour with youthful purple hues. The nose is full and broad with ripe dark berry and cherry fruit along with black plum aromas. Spicy new oak lifts the aromatics, which are still in the primary mode. Full-bodied, lush and plush, juicy fruit flavours fill the palate. Raspberries and dark plums, oak spices and a little earthiness blossom. The acidity is a feature and a little elevated, and combine with the fine, firm tannins to provide great drive. The palate has a firmness and concentration at the core that leads to a very long, concentrated finish. This is a fruitful and plush, and vibrant Corton red that will age 10-12+ years. 18.0/20 Nov 2013 RRP $180.00
