Anne Gros Vosne-Romanee ‘Les Barreaux’ 2008

Pinot Noir from France - Burgandy
Review Date : 28-Jul-2011
Full, deep, dark ruby-red with purple hues, this has youthfully firm and tightly bound aromatics featuring ripe, dark red berry fruits with savoury plum notes. On palate this is rich, fulsome and packed with dark plum flavours, bright and succulent in expression. The acidity is sufficient for good tension and fine-grained tannins provide a refined structure and mouthfeel. This is a fresh, fruit-featured, modern style, with clean, well-ripened flavours and balance. Keep for 7-8+ years.  Jul 2011
