Anne Gros ‘Les Loachausses’ Exchezeaux Grand Cru 2010

Pinot Noir from France - Burgandy
Review Date : 20-Jul-2014
Deepish ruby-red colour with some purple hues, lighter on edge. This has a fresh, bright and perfumed bouquet with violetty florals, dark red berry fruits, tightly bound and youthful, promising much to unfold. Medium-full bodied, the palate has focussed primary fruit flavours of bright and pure dark red berries. The clarity of aromatics and flavour expression is startling and enhanced by crisp and cutting acidity and mouthfeel. Fine-grained tannins underline the palate and add to the dense core and linearity. Already attractively pure and aromatic, this will develop greater interest and detail over the next 10+ years. 19.0/20 Oct 2013 RRP $249.00
