Anna’s Way Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2017

Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 11-Apr-2018
Bright, very pale straw colour with slight green hues, near colourless on the rim. The nose is very fresh and clean with aromas of passionfruit and subtle notes of gooseberries, herbs, nettles and herbaceous cut-grass elements, unfolding lifted white florals. This has cut and clarity. Dry to taste and light-medium bodied, the palate has light and taut flavours of passionfruit, fresh herbs, nettles and cut-grass. The fruit forms a gentle heart and the palate is enlivened by crisp acidity. The wine flows easily along a soft line, the flavours receding on the finish. This is a taut and light Sauvignon Blanc with cool-spectrum flavours of nettles, cut-grass and passionfruit on a crisp, clean palate. Serve as an aperitif, and with salads and vegetables over the next 2 years. Fruit from the Awatere and Wairau Valleys, cool-fermented in stainless-steel to 12.6% alc. and 1.1 g/L RS. 16.5-/20 Apr 2018 RRP $18.99
