Angela Stone Nelson Sauvignon Blanc 2013

Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand - Nelson
Review Date : 13-Jul-2014
Bright, very pale straw colour, near colourless on edge. The nose is elegantly concentrated with pungent aromas of passionfruit along with tropical fruit notes, sweet aromatic herbs and mouthwatering mineral nuances. White floral perfumes emerge, adding lift. Dry to taste and medium-bodied, the palate is finely proportioned with up-front juicy and succulent flavours of passionfruit and tropical fruits. Well-balanced, lively and thirst-quenching acidity enhances the fruitiness and fresh mouthfeel, and a soft, fine, textured thread guides the palate to a light, dry, crisp finish with receding flavours. This is an up-front, juicy passionfruity Sauvignon Blanc with a lively mouthfeel and a light, dry finish. Match with seafood, salads and vegetables and Asian cuisine over the next 2 years. A single vineyard wine, fermented to 12.7% alc. 17.5/20 Jul 2014 RRP $24.00
