Anchorage ‘Winemakers Release’ Nelson Pinot Gris 2010

Pinot Gris from New Zealand - Nelson
Review Date : 23-Mar-2011
Very pale straw-yellow colour with green hues, this has a clean, fresh nose of white stonefruits and pears, showing purity and elegance. Cool-fermented to 13.5% alc. and 5.5 g/L rs, this is off-dry to taste with fine, tight, linear flavours of white stonefruits, pear drops, with an attractive aromatic lift. Soft acidity and some alcohol warmth show, making this up-front and accessible. An uncomplicated style to drink with mildly spicy Asian cuisine over the next 2-3+ years. 16.5+/20 Mar 2011 RRP $19.00
