Anchorage Florals Pinot Gris 2021, Nelson

Pinot Gris from New Zealand - Nelson
Review Date : 13-Oct-2021
Bright, pale straw-yellow with depth, lighter on the rim. The nose is gently full, leading pear, baked apple aromas with a hint of stonefruit and white florals. Medium-full bodied, off-dry to taste, aromas of pear and baked apple melded with lilies and a touch of five-spice. The mouthfeel is rounded with balanced sugar sweetness; a spicy acid line draws a moreish closing. Match with lemongrass & chilli pork and spicy fish taco over the next 2 years. Fermented in stainless steel to 12.5% alc. 16.5/20 pts (83 pts) Oct 2021 RRP $16
