Bright pale straw-yellow colour with a pale edge, this has a soft, tight, but fragrant nose of citrus fruits, white florals and exotic jasmine notes with a minerally aspect. Dryish to taste, this has an attractive, delicate palate with gentle lime fruits, floral blossoms and minerals, the soft acidity providing a restrained tension. The wine is sleek but with a soft roundness to the texture. Some zestiness enhances the brightness on the finish. Fruit from two blocks in the ‘Amisfield' vineyard, fermented to 12.4% alc, a portion with indigenous yeasts, and 7.4 g/L rs. Serve as an aperitif or with mildly spicy Asian cuisine over the next 4-5+ years. 18.0+/20 RRP $30.00
