Alter Ego de Chatau Palmer Margaux 2010

Blended Red from France - Bordeaux
Review Date : 12-Nov-2015
51% CS, 49% Me. Dark, deep, black-red colour, youthful in appearance. The bouquet is soft and full with depth and density, yet with an elegance of presentation, showing harmoniously melded aromas of ripe black berried and black plum fruit, unveiling nuances of blackcurrants and secondary earthy notes. Medium-full to full bodied, this wine is dense and mouthfilling with ripe blackberry and black plum fruit flavours. Earthy layers and blackcurrants unfold, and the sweet fruit is supported by considerable tannin extraction and structure. This is a fulsome mouthful of wine and the plate carries to a well-extracted, structure-focussed finish. This has a decade of life and development ahead. 18.5+/20 Nov 2015 RRP $189.00
