Alpine Valley Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2010

Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 14-Feb-2011
Fruit from the ‘Te Puki Iti' and ‘Rewa' vineyards of Tiki Wines in the Upper Wairau Valley, stainless-steel fermented to 13.0% alc. and 5.0 g/L rs. Bright straw-yellow colour with green hues, this has a fresh, zesty, almost brash nose with aromas of English gooseberries, green capsicums and herbs with elements of passionfruit. Dry to taste, this has an up-front, robust palate with raw capsicum and herb flavours that carry some phenolics and bitterness. The palate finishes lighter and gentler. A rugged Sauvignon Blanc with impact. Drink with seafood and antipasto dishes over the next 2 years. 16.0-/20 Feb 2011 RRP $19.99
