Allan Scott Marlborough Rosé 2017

Rose from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 06-Jul-2017
Bright, pale, cerise-pink with some depth and light purple hues on the rim. The nose is soft and light with fragrant aromas of strawberries and cream, subtle red florals and delicate notes of confectionary, revealing yellow stonefruit notes at the core with aeration. Medium-dry to medium to taste, and light-bodied, the palate has sweet and lush flavours of strawberries and cream with notes od cherries and raspberries, red florals and lifted confectionary elements. The fruit is clean and light in expression, enlivened by fresh, crisp acidity, providing a thirst-quenching mouthfeel. The wine flows along a soft-textured line carrying to a light, berry-fruited and confectionary nuanced finish. This is fresh, clean light aromatic fruited medium-dry rosé with strawberries and cream and confectionary notes, with mouthwatering acidity. Serve as an aperitif and with canapes over the next 2 years. 100% Marlborough Pinot Noir. a portion given 4 hours skin contact and cool-fermented to 13.0% alc. and 12 g/L RS, the wine aged 2 weeks on lees. 16.5+/20 Jul 2017 RRP $18.00
