Deep purple-hued with ruby-red, lighter on the rim. This has blackberries, bramble aromas interweave, dark herbs and a hint of spice. Medium-bodied, ripe blackberries lead, bramble jam, black pepper, anise, and dark herbs linger to a juicy finish. The palate is round and smooth with a powdery texture. This is an upfront Pinot Noir with lush bramble fruit and a smooth palate. Match with summer barbeque over the next 3 years. Fruit from Bannockburn and Pisa, fermented with 6% whole bunches to 13.5% alc, aged in French oak barriques for 6 months. 18/20 pts (90 pts) Mar 2022 RRP $27
