Akarua Central Otago Pinot Gris 2010

Pinot Gris from New Zealand - Otago
Review Date : 09-Jun-2011
At 13.5% alc. and 9.6 g/L rs this has a very pale, youthful straw-yellow colour and a tight nose of minerals, pears and lifted floral esters. Dry to taste, this is crisp, lean and racy, with steely, mineral characters and a touch of musk. The acidity is racy, yet there is an underlying softness. Very much Pinot Grigio in style at this youthful stage.  Jun 2011
