Aimery Grande Cuvee 1531 Cremant de Limoux Brut Rosé NV, France

Sparkling Wine from France - Other
Review Date : 15-Nov-2021
Bright, even, pale peach-pink colour. Bubbles are fine and persistent. The nose is soft, with vibrant aromas of raspberries, stonefruit, interweave blossom and subtle creamy autolysis. Medium-light bodied, the palate is focused, aromas of raspberries, melded with apple and stonefruit, unfolding a hint of floral and creamy lees. The fruit is vibrant and pure, supported by a focused acid tension to a moderately long finish. Subtle fine-textured phenolics and creamy mousse contribute to an elegant mouthfeel. This vibrant and juicy Methode Traditionelle possesses raspberries and stonefruit, balanced acidity, and a delicate palate. Match with sushi and salmon over the next 3 years. A blend of 70% Chardonnay, 20% Chenin Blanc and 10% Pinot Noir made by the traditional method, 12% alc, 10g/l RS. 18+/20 pts (91 pts) Nov 2021 RRP $29.99
