A Nos Amours ‘Cuvee de Anges’ Blanc de Blancs Brut NV

Sparkling Wine from Other
Review Date : 14-Jul-2016
Bright, pale straw colour, near colourless on the rim. The nose is fresh, clean and uncomplicated with aromas of white stonefruits and fragrant white florals with a suggestion of honeysuckle and confectionary. Medium-dry to taste and light-medium bodied, the palate is refreshingly creamy with a soft mousse, and delicately flavoured with white stonefruits and florals with some nutty notes. The fruit is clean and subtly aromatic. The mouthfeel is softly refreshing and follow a very fine line with good balance from the sweetness, and carries easily to a light, finish of stomefruits and florals. This is an up-front, easy, attractively clean and uncomplicated sparkling wine with value and appeal. Serve as an aperitif over the next 18 months. A blend of Ugni Blanc from Charente, France, and Airen from La Mancha, Spain, cool-fermented with the second fermentation at 14°C for 2 weeks to 11.0 % alc. and 10 g/L residual sugar. 15.5-/20 Jul 2016 RRP $10.95
